Nicky Hammerlane here, sitting in a truckstop in Rockwall, Texas trying to figure out exactly what happened. As many of you know, I travel the highways hauling the excess freight for N. Hammerlane and Son Trucking (my idea of retirement.) Having sold the company to my son and grandsons, they dispatch me and I get to roll down the road with lots of time to think; one of the many pluses of being a trucker.
