This conundrum brings us to Murphys Third Law of Trucking: You Run Out of Cash Before You Run Out of Month.

The Trucking Business Community - Murphy's Laws of Trucking and How to Avoid Them: Murphy's Law Number 4

Over the past few weeks, Ive covered The Murphys Laws of Trucking, with tips for avoiding some of the most common and frustrating challenges that transportation professionals face. In the final installment here, Ill discuss one of the greatest dilemmas in the world of trucking as an Owner/Operator or small motor carrier: the Haul/No Haul decision or Murphys Fourth Law of Trucking. Letting someone else determine your hauling rates is the road to financial disaster.

Trucking Company Reduces Fuel Use With Side Skirts

As fuel prices continue to rise, trucking companies must find new ways to protect the bottom line and reducing your diesel consumption is an obvious place to start. Though fuel savings wont come for free, you dont have to replace your trucks or sideline drivers to accomplish this goal.
